The Church of St. Peter offers many opportunities for our parish families to use their God-given talents to help us strengthen and build the Kingdom of God. We encourage you to spend some time in prayer asking the Lord what talents He’s asking you to share with the people of St. Peter.
The Church of St. Peter organizes our volunteer opportunities into three categories: From the Parish, In the Parish, and Hosted by the Parish.
Ministries identified as “From the Parish” are essential to the life of our parish include Eucharistic minister, lectors, sacristans, catechists and other important volunteer roles.
Ministries identified as “In the Parish” are ministries that enhance our parish life and help us serve our neighbors. Ministries in this category include the backpack program, Council of Women baptismal bib making, our celebrating seniors and others.
Ministries identified as “Hosted by the Parish” are ministries from other organizations that are closely related to our community, include many of our parishioners, and who use our parish facilities. Examples of ministries hosted by the parish include the Knights of Columbus, Boy Scouts, and others.
Information on all of our volunteer opportunities is available from our parish ministry board in the Church entryway. We are excited to welcome you, and your gifts of time and talent in service to our parish.
