The Church of St. Peter is a Roman Catholic community of disciples that strives to continue the saving work of Jesus Christ for our members, the larger community and the universal church by our commitment to hospitality, formation, worship and service.
From our roots as a missionary parish,to serving others inour community and around the world. the people of the Church of St. Peter have lived, worked and worshiped in North St. Paul for over 130 years.
The founding members of our parish formed the North St. Paul Catholic Organization and asked Bishop John Ireland to send a prist to offer Mass for them. Fr. Kaeberle, pastor of Sacred Heart in St. Paul held the first Mass in a unused storeroom in the Enterprise Bulding. Shortly after, North St. Paul became a mission parish of Guardian Angels in Oakdale under the care of Fr. Francis Gores.
In 2017 the parish was entrusted to the Priestly Fraternity of St. Charles Borromeo, a missionary order from Italy. Under the care of our clergy, the people of St. Peter continue to serve our brothers and sisters in Christ in the North St. Paul area and beyond as we strive to serve the living God by being good stewards of the many gifts He has bestowed on each one of us.
