Acutis, an English-born Italian teenager described by his friends as a “computer geek” due to his passion and computer skills began creating a website documenting Eucharistic miracles from around the world at age 11. Noted for his cheerfulness and devotion to the Eucharist, Acutis worked on the project until his death from leukemia at age 15. He was beatified by the Catholic Church on October 10, 2020
A photographic exhibit of his work now travels the world and will be on display at the Church of St. Peter in North St. Paul, Friday, September 16 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Saturday, September 17 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. and on Sunday, September 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The exhibit’s beautiful panels document each Eucharistic Miracle with photos, illustrations, and background information on where they took place, witnesses to the miracle, and the lasting influence of the miracles on the people and places they occurred.
