Striving for holiness as individuals, couples, children, and families
Building a growing community of brothers and sisters in Christ
Holy Family Guild is a community of St. Peter parishioners who desire to build intentional Catholic friendship as we raise our children and strive to grow in holiness. By creating a shared life in Christ, we hope to build a network of friendship that helps prepare us to be lights of Christ in our secular culture. We hope to be a joyful Christian witness that attracts others to make St. Peter parish their home. The community is open and flexible, adjusting to meet the needs of its members and striving to be open to the promptings of the Holy Spirit.
Families gather for monthly family potluck dinners to share a meal, grow in community, and celebrate the liturgical life of our Catholic Church. Dinner events are meant to strengthen the community bonds between Holy Family Guild (HFG) families as well as be an opportunity to welcome young families in the St. Peter parish and school communities to a more active participation in our shared faith and parish life. The next monthly dinner will be Friday, January 20. Please email [email protected] for more information or join our email list.
In addition to gathering as families, there are opportunities for HFG men and women to support, strengthen, and grow together in our life as fathers, mothers, spouses and Christians. The opportunities include book clubs, Advent and Lent prayer groups, retreats, game nights and more. Support is also coordinated with meal trains after the birth of a child, major illness or time of crisis and prayer requests.
