“Go out to all the world, is what Christ said to his disciples. And I repeat it to you. Go out to all the world to bring the truth, beauty and peace that are found in Christ the Redeemer.”
These words of Saint John Paul II, pronounced in 1984 to those belonging to the Ecclesial Movement of Communion and Liberation, are at the origin of our Priestly Fraternity.
The Priestly Fraternity of the Missionaries of St Charles Borromeo, founded by Monsignor Massimo Camisasca, was established as a Society of Apostolic Life on March 19, 1989.
The only aim of our Fraternity is to educate the people entrusted to our care in the faith. The origin and true sustenance of our mission is the communion among us, rooted in Christ. We live in communities of at least three priests, guided by a common life of prayer and a simple rule. The Fraternity has more than 25 missions spread throughout the world- from Taiwan to Mexico City. Among these missions are three existing locations in the United States: Boston, Denver, and Washington DC. We are very excited and grateful to begin our new mission in just a few months, serving the people of Saint Peter’s!
The Church of St. Peter is a parish of the Archdioces of Minneapolis and St. Paul and is entrusted to clergy from the Priestly Fraternity of St. Charles Borromeo.
